MUST READ: THE NIGERIAN STATE OF MIND

Article written by me.

Over a long period of time, and many encounters with Nigerian people, I have observed that the typical Nigerian has a certain state of mind. And that state of mind spreads across all of the ethnic groups of Nigeria as a whole..
Nigerians have a great deal of Zeal to excel far beyond what they can dream of, but the reason why I don't see that excellence as expected, has led me to observe the behaviour of the typical Nigerian..

The Nigerian mind works like this..

Typically The 'Nigerians' will approach, say a book in this way.
A part of the 'Nigerians', will only look at the title of the book and assume they now know the contents of the book. Another part will go as far as finding someone who says they have read the book and take their word for it. Another faction, will hear from someone who has heard from someone who has met someone who has seen the book.
Then a tiny faction would seek out someone who has read the book, and in this faction some will only hear the story half way, others will hear only the beginning, some only the end, another would rather ask from a third party who is also listening, and the chaos continues..

Why can't we ever get the full scoop of things in Nigeria? How did we create this Nigerian mentality of half baked everything?

School, half baked.
Knowledge, half baked.
Governance, story.

My major problem is, these people that know Nothing about everything are the ones we see in all the high places.. They have tagged themselves the professional elites!
And some other Nigerians who haven't been absorbed into that "Nigerian thing" they have created, start feeling "Na so we dey do am"
No be so oo..

Why are we so impatient to seek knowledge to its depths? To be fully saturated by it, that it becomes second nature to us like breathing is?

Just because these professionals deceive you on social media, don't mean they know more than you..

Don't stop learning.. Learn to the edge.
Do it your way. Be patient.

Become a world contender.
