Don't Mess With A Pregnant Woman, TV Meteorologist Sends A Message To Her Haters Who Called Her 'Sausage In A Casing'

One hardworking Philadelphia meteorologist is speaking her mind as she should. She has been receiving horrible criticism from viewers who don’t want to see her pregnant belly on television. I don't think anyone should be picking on a pregnant woman for any reason at all.

CBS 3’s Katie Fehlinger is a soon-to-be mommy of beautiful twins. Sadly, she has been receiving awful comments from some viewers who tune in to watch her daily weather forecast. The’ve been calling her disgusting names, all because her baby bump is on their television screen. Beyond disrespectful.

Katie should be enjoying this time, but instead, she is being tortured by hurtful comments from others. The gorgeous blonde was told by viewers that her on-air appearance looked like a “sausage in casing” and was “disgusting” — all because of her baby bump.

At 35 weeks pregnant and expecting twin girls, Katie continued to work and deliver the morning forecast. All of the negative comments came via social media and she tried her best to ignore them. Sadly, the comments just kept pouring in and they took a toll on her. So, she said enough is enough and took to Facebook to send a loud and clear message to the haters.

A message for the haters...
Hey guys! Once more, I have to get something off my chest. So, the nature of my job makes me an easy target for criticism. I will always understand that, and I will most typically just ignore it. However, after someone blatantly called me a "sausage in casing" and another declared that "sticking your pregnant abdomen out like that is disgusting", I felt a need to draw a line and speak up.
She later went on to thank everyone for their support. Her station also is strongly supporting her. They’ve asked viewers to share their baby bump pictures using the hashtag #CBS3 for a chance to see them on TV.
“Beyond overwhelmed at the response! I NEVER expected this. In truth, I went in hoping for some catharsis more than anything. But, when you think about it, it’s one of the most relatable topics out there. Everyone has a mom. Every human being on earth is here because a woman went through this journey…and THAT should be celebrated. Thank you all for proving that positivity outweighs the negative.”
