Nigerian Embassy In Saudi Arabia Reportedly Shuns President Buhari's Family For Sambo's

The Nigerian Embassy in Saudi Arabia has reportedly shunned PresidentMuhammadu Buhari’s family while giving preferential treatment to the family of former Vice President, Namadi Sambo.
The Buhari and Sambo families are said to currently be in the holy land to observe the lesser Hajj (Umrah).
According to Leadership, both families arrived in Saudi Arabia this week but while Aisha Buhari and her five children were allotted a two-bedroom accommodation, the former vice president was allotted an eight-room apartment.

The embassy also reportedly failed to provide protocol officers and vehicles for the President’s family while the said courtesy was extended to Sambo’s family members.

An embassy source is said to have told Leadership that Nigeria’s Consular-General in Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Umarowes his position to Sambo and as such still sees himself as the former VP’s protégé.
Sambo vacated office on May 29, 2015 along with former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
