All these recent assassinations. An ongoing investigation in Enugu looks into the killing of the the traditional ruler of Nkerefi in Nkanu East local government area, Igwe P.A Onuoha.
He and two others were killed in the early hours of Saturday July 10, the spokesman for the state police command, Ebiere Amaraizu says.
The spokesperson also revealed that they were killed with a machete, as signs of cuts were on their bodies.
He says the police are working to bring the perpetrators to book.
