Thank goodness this didn't happen to me o! I had an experience like this with an ATM on a rainy day, it just kept on shocking my fingers as i entered my pin. was scary though. This lady wasn't so lucky.
According to People’s Daily Online, Liu, was trying to get cash from an ATM in Xi’an, north west China, when a sudden surge of electricity left her needing urgent medical attention. The electric shock sent about 200 volts into her body, making her fall flat on the floor with her right arm numb and sore. jezz!!

Liu’s ring finger got broken while her card got stuck in the China Everbright Bank’s ATM. However, her injuries were wrapped up with the doctor assuring that the fingernails would grow back on their own. Liu has however not been able to work properly as her injured right arm stopped her from typing properly and she has been forced to take sick leave.
An official of the bank however apologised for the accident and said that the bank would compensate the woman by paying for her medical treatment. He also added that the ATM machine had been installed for more than a year and used electricity from the eye wear store where it was placed.

The bank’s other two machines, which are based outside the eye wear shop, were also tested. It was however found that they did not transmit electricity. The cause of the malfunction in currently unknown and the cash point is undergoing investigation while the ATM has since been closed.
Well, thank God she survived.
