The expectant mom shocked viewers when she opened up about her disturbing addiction to hoarding, sniffing and chewing on dirty diapers on TLC’s, My Strange Addiction, and NOBODY since has been able to top this woman. Out of all compulsions imaginable, this has to be one of the MOST bizarre.

In the TLC episode, 22-year-old Keisha says she prefers particular diapers, “It has to have pee in it,” she explains as she pulls a diaper out of her drawer while inhaling its odor. “The heavier ones that have more pee smell better.”

Until Keisha’s baby arrives, she gets dirty diapers from her friend, who has baby twins. She keeps their diapers stashed around her house, in her purse, and even in the car so she can “smell and chew on them whenever she wants.”

In the full TLC episode, Keisha takes an infant out of her crib and sniffs the girl’s diaper before deciding that she wants it. She’s gotten her family and friends beyond annoyed, her friend with twins says she’ll contact her for diapers at odd hours, “..she doesn’t care what time it is, she’ll wake my baby up to take the diaper that’s on the baby.”

Although Keisha’s dirty diaper habit makes for sensational TV, her desire is likely due to having Pica, which is the compulsive eating of non-food items, and is an actual medical condition that requires treatment.

Loved ones urge her to seek help for her behavior, especially with a baby on the way. Her fiancé, Jerome mentioned, “I’ve tried to work with her, but she goes beyond for her diapers. . . She’s even willing to dig in the garbage.” he said.
