Power of the plateau.In anything you do, you will one day hit a plateau.
This is a state where you seem to be making no progress.
Training becomes a dull series of endless repetition.
Ideas are not bright.
Motivation is low, not just temporary but continously.
You just cant seem to ACTIVATE.
This moments are not to be seen in a dreadful way, many people tend to want to push harder, but after a little gain, the fall back down. Bored with this they shift to another activity without mastering the current one.
You should see the plateau as a place of joy, you should realize that you have reached a place where your body and mind is begining to automate what you have put in sweat and tears to learn. If you remain in this plateau for a while practicing constantly throughout this period, you will soon feel that nudge of excitement, calling you forward, new inspiration will come, new strength and skill will come.
But you should also know that this new skills will soon become routine and you will hit another plateau, this time accept it with joy, it is part of the development process.
